BALLET
It gives students the opportunity to learn and develop proper technical training that is needed for all types of dance. Ballet teaches dancers the value of discipline, focus and determination through fluid and beautiful movement. It increases flexibility, strength and body awareness. JAZZ Jazz is one of the most popular styles of dance today. Always changing to reflect popular culture, these vibrant and energetic classes will expose every dancer to the latest styles of choreography. It will increase strength and flexibility and provide a great foundation of dance to any student. It will give dancers a chance to be expressive and offers the opportunity to develop individual stylized movement. TAP Tap offers dancers a chance to increase musicality and master intricate rhythms, all while making music with their feet. It is a fun and up-beat way to develop an increased sense of timing and coordination. |
ACRO
Acro is the fusion between of gymnastics, acrobatics and dance. It develops strong muscles, increases flexibility and contributes to a dancer's overall athleticism. Dancers love acro because of the interesting tricks and partnering skills they learn in class. Hip Hop Exclusive to The Dance Movement, Hip Hop is a skills and stylized Hip Hop movement. It has earned much of its popularity and publicity in music videos and movies. It gives dancers the opportunity to let loose and dance to current and trendy music. These classes are extremely energetic and fun. LYRICAL It is a combination of ballet, jazz and the ability to communicate through music and movement. It is celebration of dance and story-telling, set to a wide range of music. Lyrical class exposes dancers to innovative and contemporary choreography while inspiring students to be expressive about their own experiences in life. Lyrical is an emotionally involved and exciting form of dance. |
