Hello and welcome to The Dance Movement, London Ontario. The most progressive dance training facility in London, Ontario! Here at The Dance Movement, we live and breathe dance. We know the strength and determination a dancer possesses and we know how to inspire a love for dance in every student at any level. Our programs are upbeat, energetic and taught by highly qualified dance instructors. If you are looking for a dynamic dance education, whether it be recreational dance or competitive dance, then The Dance Movement is the place for you! The Dance Movement (TDM) offers a high calibre of dance instructors/teaching staff to all dance students. Throughout their own dance training, our dance teachers received instruction at dance studios in London, Ontario and across North America including Canada's National Ballet School. Various dance certifications are held with organizations such as Performing Arts Educators of Canada, Dance Masters of America (Chapter #43), and the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program. The Dance Movement (TDM) dance instructors/teaching staff are either pursuing, or have completed post-secondary education in the areas of Arts, Business, Science, Education, Kinesiology, Public Relations, MIT, Dance and Theatre. Our teachers are often called upon to share their expertise with programs outside the studio including ballet instruction to the National Competitive Diving Team at Forest City Diving Club, providing choreography for local theatre companies and secondary school shows, teaching dance classes at various schools in their physical education, drama, and dance programs and more. All teachers at The Dance Movement are certified in emergency first aid. The teaching philosophy of TDM is student-focused. All teachers strive to provide a safe, supportive learning environment that meets the needs of variety of students, encouraging them to discover and develop their personal strengths and abilities while working and supporting one another as a team. Teaching strategies are designed to foster motivation for continued participation while instilling a love of dance in each student. Dancers at TDM will build a strong technical foundation and develop unique stylized movement, while having the time of their lives. TDM would like to celebrate their graduates who have gone on to pursue their dreams across North America. Some have chosen to continue their dance training at schools such as Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Centre, Alvin Ailey School of Ballet, Ryerson Theatre School, and Sheridan College.

The Dance Movement features: • Our dance studio in London, Ontario features 6,500 square feet of space• 3 large, clean bright dance studios equipped with mirrors, state of the art sound systems and dance bars. Hardwood spring floors and marley ballet floor. High ceilings that are ideal for Acro and Tumbling dance training, clean change rooms and kitchen.• A welcoming and comfortable waiting area with wireless internet and satellite tv for dancers and dance parents to enjoy.
